You will learn each and everything you need to start developing Golang & AWS Lambda based microservices, REST APIs and event-driven applications. The course covers creating the required infrastructure using AWS Cloudformation and connecting the Golang Lambda with other AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, SES, API Gateway etc.
There will also be a few mini projects to understand the concepts of Golang and AWS in detail.
However, the course won't cover advanced Golang topics such as Channels, Goroutines, concurrency etc.
But after the course one can definitely work with Golang with more confidence.
The course is not Golang 101 or AWS 101. Instructor will explain all the AWS services and Golang concepts
that are used in the course. That being said, concepts such as gRPC, channels, concurrency etc are not covered in the course.
If you need to work with Golang and/or AWS, then this course is definately for you. Both of the topics are covered in detail.
If you are already familiar with Golang and/or AWS, still this course will be beneficial for you as it covers enterprise level
best practices, and patterns to create production-ready serverless microservices, and event-driven applications.
